So was my prediction correct? There's certainly a lack of properties coming to the market...everyone seems to be waiting until spring. BUT not one of our clients - having been stuck on the market for over a year with 45+ viewings and only one offer they called us in to produce a property styling report. They embraced it, worked hard and invited us over to praise their fabulous work - what a transformation. On asking our advice re marketing we suggested getting it marketed asap.This week they accepted an offer from the 2nd couple to view it. At well over what they'd previously been offered. We are all absolutly thrilled! So get moving NOW and get your house on the market - in this area there are more buyers than sellers!

The clocks have moved and the nights are drawing in....but surprisingly the last week or so has seen a number of new properies hit the open market. Usually the battens are being firmly sealed at the windows in anticipation of a quiet few months in the run up to Christmas....BUT this is not a usual market - the historical pattern's so steeped in everyones minds that I think it's time to expect the unexpected. Maybe there is no ' quiet time' anymore.....Lets wait and watch. BUT my current advice to you is that if your home is in tip-top condition don't not market it just because Santas around the corner!

So we hit the press and made the front page with the success story below. So whilst the rest of the property market is looking pretty gloomy there are still things you can do to aid your sale - pull your socks up and really make sure your property beats the competition. Get your promotion, presentation and pricing RIGHT and you'll be on the move before you know it!

Fabulous success story this week with the sale of a property at the asking price +. Having languished unsold on the market for a year - with no offers! The owners decided to rent their £1,500,000 property out but at the end of the year long tenancy were keen to return to the market. They took our advice and within days of the tennant moving out we had our reliable team painting, building, repairing , cleaning, sanding, vanishing, carpeting and gardening. We staged the property with contemporary furniture in keeping with the 'life-style' we were advocating. Result - within 12 days of getting the keys SOLD at the asking price + the furniture package was bought too. You can't ask for more than that. One very delighted client!
